Fricano's at the present boast 5 locations. The Grand Haven, MI location known as Fricano's Pizza Tavern was started in 1949. Fricano's Pizza Tavern is the original and most famous pizzeria and pizza in Michigan.  Over 50 years ago the late Cosimo (Gus) Fricano, founded what is believed to be the first pizzeria in Michigan with the original thin crust pizza pie.  At the Grand Haven location to travel from Grand Rapids, Holland, Ludington, New Era, Jenison, Hudsonville, Muskegon, and beyond is the norm. The second Fricano's opened in 1978 in Kalamazoo, MI and is known as Fricano's of Alamo (The township it is in, just outside Kalamazoo.) This location serves dinners other than pizza (a complete menu and fine dining) and they offer more than the original 5 toppings (the other toppings they offer are ham, onions, black olives and green olives.) The Holland, MI location opened in 1983 called Fricano's Too.  In 2002 the Muskegon, MI, location Fricano's Muskegon Lake was opened.  In 2003 Doug Fricano opened the Grand Rapids, MI location called Fricano's Pizza.
